Magnesium is a mineral that can be found in a number of foods and is most prevalent in green leafy vegetables such as spinach, nuts and grains.
Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to electrolyte balance. Magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system. Magnesium contributes to normal psychological function, muscle function and normal protein synthesis. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and also has a role in the process of cell division.
For anyone engaged in a long term physical training plan, getting the right dietary balance is absolutely essential. The body requires the right kind of nutrients in order to perform and develop correctly, and whether these come from food or from supplements, they are needed for many purposes. As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 2g Magnesium Citrate (providing approximately 300mg of Magnesium), daily.
Warnings: Magnesium Citrate can have a laxative affect, so you may need to alter our ‘Suggested Use’ to meet your personal needs. If you do experience these affects it is recommended that you reduce your dosage size.

It is a good product, it is hard to dissolve, but it is a perfect magnesium replacement
Instead of saying it may cause laxative effects just say it DOES. After 1/2 hr to 45mins if taking it the toilet is your best friend. No bueno
I have bought this product. I use 2.5 g daily, works great to reduce muscle cramps and gives overall energy in both mind and body. I dislike magnesium as pills, so this is great. It doesn't mix 100%, but so what? Give it a stir and flush it down the hatch. It's worth it.Goes Well With:water, orange juice
I took a teaspoon of this a couple of times, trying with and without food. Each time I didn't have to wait long for strong stomach cramps followed by a couple of hours of my entire digestive system trying to exit me. I've noted that diarrhoea is a noted side effect of magnesium citrate and it may be that I'm particularly sensitive to this stuff, but it's one to watch out for.Goes Well With:Not with me.
scoop is too big. there give 4 gram scoop for product that 2.5 gram/serving guessing the amount is hard. hard to dissolve in drinking water. both combination above give me a light diarrhea . (for me it's stronger laxative magnesium milk)Goes Well With:-
This product is - I believe - Trimagnesium Citrate, it's a cheaper commercial form of Magnesium Citrate. It does give you more Magnesium per gram. The downside is that its solubility in PH neutral water is poor. My solution is to add 1/4 teaspoon Malic Acid (maybe a bid less) to each teaspoon of Magnesium Citrate. Gets rid of the taste and in hot water it dissolves completely.Goes Well With:Malic Acid
