If You Lack a Sweet Tooth
5I’ve been trying protein supplemented food for years and every time I have to hold my nose / I feel nauseous for hours afterwards. This pea protein has changed my life!! I’ve now confirmed the sweetener and flavourings of other proteins is what made them such an awful experience before. This protein tastes and smells like dry peas, as you would expect. It adds a ‘green’ flavour to smoothies that I wouldn’t purposefully add for taste factor but it isn’t unpleasant. There is a noticeable texture but no more powdery than average proteins. I blend my smoothies with avocado and I believe the fattiness / thickness overrides it. Not sure how well it would hold up in very thin / watery mixtures.Goes Well With:Green Smoothies (Almond milk, avocado, banana, spinach, peanut butter, pea protein, water, ice)

5Excellent. Strawberry flavour tastes absolutely delicious . Is easy to mix and is having the desired effect .Goes Well With:I use water to mix it with . Tastes great and has excellent consistency

The taste is neutral, the results are fantastic.
5Is it a great tasting protein powder? Not really. But it is tolerable, you get used to it, and there's no need for it to be a big deal. I have it unflavoured and consume it by mixing 50g of it into about a pint of water, and mixing it with an immersion blender, then pouring it through a sieve into a glass, then downing it in one. It leaves me feeling full of energy for a good while and makes for a great way to add protein to your diet.

5Great product. Works well with Oats yogurt cottage cheese and all the usual suspects. Taste is tops. Continued purchasing. Goes Well With:Oats yogurt cottage cheese fruit

Not bad
4Doesn't mix as well as whey powder. Definitely not as tasty either. You certainly wouldn't drink one for pleasure. I bought the strawberry flavour and just chug it down after my workout. That said, it's not that bad really and does its job of getting more protein into your diet without breaking your vegan ethics. Decent.
