Quality has dropped
3Value: great Taste: well it's unflavoured pea protein, I'm not buying it for the flavour so I won't mark it down for that! It's unpleasant until you're used to it, then it's fine. Mixability & texture: this is where it's gone downhill. A year ago, this was a bit gritty, but that's to be expected with pea protein. Mixed fine. Since then, I'm guessing they are sourcing this from a different supplier? Now when you shake it, it's much frothier, and it's almost impossible to shake out the small lumps. It also tastes worse than it used to. Overall it's still a good value product, but hopefully the sourcing can improve back to how it was when I last purchased it in 2021. (This batch I bought in Sept 2022.)

Perfect Protein
5After trying many different protein mixes this was recommended to me. I would now highly recommend this to others. I bought the Vanilla flavour, it tastes like an ice cream milkshake. I now wouldn’t buy anything else. Great consistency, great flavour. Perfect protein. 5 stars. Goes Well With:Anything. I’ve used this as a shake and added it too food. A great all round supplement.

Mixes well, but taste isn't good as you'd expect.
4I opted for the pea protein as an alternative to the more milky type protein, the actual flavour isn't the best, however it does go down very quickly.

Great tasting isolate
5Not pasty or grainy. Easy to mix and blend. Goes Well With:I mix it with berries which sounds odd for chocolate protein but it’s delicious.

Good taste and mixability
5I've previously used Whey and thought I'd give this Pea Isolate a go (it was on offer at the time) instead. It mixes well as long as you add powder to fluid and not fluid to powder! I've tried the Chocolate and the Strawberry so far and I like the Choco one best as I found the strawberry a bit 'thin'. I can't really review the effectiveness, as, well...it's hard to gauge in all honesty. I do feel like my DOMS have reduced though. I take it 3 times a day and I extra post workout.Goes Well With:Full fat milk and a banana for the first of the day and then just 250ml water for the rest. I actually add creatine and BCAA to my post workout shake and all OK!

Not great
1Very gritty texture like drinking sawdust, taste isn’t very nice either (I got the strawberry). I wanted to try a dairy free protein as normal whey protein makes me break out however this is awful would not recommend. Now I have to try to get through a full 1kg bag :(

Using for cooking
5I use it for cooking instead of flour, it behaves pretty similar! Great for thickening your dishes, even made a white sauce with it (it changes the taste slightly, but still pretty good).
