Decent Price
4For the price, you definitely get a good amount of protein. considering its 24g per scoop which is most than others. Probably the best value for money protein powder, especially when on sale. However, mixable of the chocolate flavour is quite poor, leaves quite a thin powder in the liquid but its not too bad if you don't mind it. I would suggest maybe try the other flavours instead of chocolate as it may mix better. Overall the taste is quite fantastic, very sweet but add more water/milk and you're good to go. Only used it a few times so far so can't tell on its impact on recovery or 'gains' etc. But, protein is protein no matter which type you go for. The fact its low in carbs and fat is good if you're trying to cut down but then again its great even if you want to gain mass. I would maybe go with a trial/test bag or a smaller pouch to try then buy the 5kg bag. Best to test it out before you're stuck with something you may not like for a long time.Goes Well With:water/milk

Sweet and satisfying
5Tried this blend after I realised plain whey isolate seemed to leave me hungry very quickly and this did the trick! It takes me a good couple hours to get hungry again after one of these shakes. No GI side effects either, even for a celiac with a delicate stomach :) NB the vanilla flavour is *very sweet* even for someone with a huge sweet tooth, I figured out if I add a pinch of salt to my shake it goes from cloying to just right. I also like to add flavdrops, instant coffee powder, cinnamon, low cal fruit yogurt etc for a change in flavour. Tastes much better with milk than with water.Goes Well With:A pinch of salt ;)

4Great post workout or shake to increase your daily amount of protein. I have this product 2 times per day and I love the taste (choc smooth) mixes very well. Top tip, mix 1 scoop with 200ml water/milk and add to coco pops as a post workout meal. Easy to digest and get carbs back on board. Goes Well With:Milk Water Coco pops

5Nice flavour. I find MyProtein products overly sweet (hence 4/5 taste review) but easy to mix with no lumps.

Whey ahead
5Have been using this for some years know and can honestly say that the Choco taste is good for when I need a change from the 'unsweetened' type. I use it 30 mins after I have completely finished my 2 hour Gym routine, showered and returned home, (live close to Gym) as the time then is best to consume.Goes Well With:I add it to: a mix of nuts, seeds, pulses, dried berries, unpasteurised milk and filtered water, all into my nutribullet and zapped for 30 secs - delicious!

Gastric disturbance!
1Had high hopes from this powder, thought the blend sounded a good option. I also wanted something with less packaging than other brands that I've used before. I can not get on with it at all however. Within about an hour of drinking it my abdomen starts to bloat and hurt, really uncomfortable. I persisted using it for several days then started to get epigastric pain and bad indigestion too so gave up. These symptoms took several days to settle and quite a lot of antacids. I hoped that by halving the dose and having it morning and evening it might help so tried that, but it didn't make any difference. An expensive mistake! I have been using protein powder from ON and bulk for ages so not sure what the issue is. On the plus side it tastes inoffensive (sweet milk flavour - I tried vanilla) and mixes well.Goes Well With:Antacids 😬

Overall best protein
5This protein as a post workout supplement is simply amazing. It tastes great and gives you that full look and feel after a tuff workout. The blend is simply so much Superior to anything I've tried this far Goes Well With:It goes well with fruits, peanut butter, flavorless creatine, milk and almond milk
