I find the chocolate Whey too sweet, so mixed both bags of Chocolate Whey and this Pea protein together and it's the perfect mixGoes Well With:Almond Milk Raspberries
Mixed half and half with brown rice protein and really don't find the taste bad... Don't get the same bloat afterwards like I used to with whey protein, so I'm happy.Goes Well With:Scoop of flavoured creatine
I have only just started using this protein shake. I used to have vegan blend. This protein shake tastes better, a bit earthy. It mixes well and it digests better. Vegan blend used to give me indigestion. It's too early to say what benefits it has.Goes Well With:Concentrate fruit juice
as soon as you take a sip you throw up so it must be good for weight loss. whats the point in this. i just bought it because it was on sale very dissapointed bought 2.5kg of useless sand.Goes Well With:salt for extra throw up action. goes well with lowest possible expectations
If a tasty chocolate milkshake is what you're looking for, you're in the wrong place. This protein is the worst tasting drink I've ever had, except maybe some of the mixes procured during a round of ring of fire at university. It always has the aftertaste of the smell of fish food. That's all I can think to compare it to. However, it is indeed a protein shake and delivers with the same texture and consistency as any other, its taste tells me there are little to no additives or artificial sweeteners in your post-workout drink. If you're serious about your diet, this could be for you. If taste is your only reason you rated this so poorly, I say grow a pair and stick to your sugary, fattening shakes. Goes Well With:a glass of water as a chaser
Has it got a good amino profile..... And is it a complete protein source
This is the worst tasting and smelling thing i have ever had in my life. I have to mix in cocoa powder and chocolate syrup (😢) to make it bearable, and even after adding them, it tastes really really bad. I have to shut my nostrils and have it in one go. No plan for ordering it ever again. Won't even finish the entire pack. @Myprotein Team: If you are listening, Please do something about its taste.Goes Well With:Nothing. Tried with water, milk, yogurt. Tastes bad with everything.
I decided to go vegan and bought 3 large bags of this. Big mistake. It just tastes grim. Even with flavdrops it still tastes horrid. The only way I can stomach it is to use one scoop in a mixer and fill it with water. Then neck it. It's still horrible but the water dilutes it enough. Once I've finished the lot I've bought I won't buy it again. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Goes Well With:Nothing. Don't do it.
The taste is rather odd. Very nice, almost like vanilla but very earthy. The mixability is very good but it tends to form bubbles. Fine to be drank immediately after mixing and easy to mix but when left tends to precipitate and form lumps. The protein per serving is better than most whey proteins twice the price.Goes Well With:Mixed into soups, sauces. Good to be drank straight with water.
Good product would recommend for vegans especially. Would have been 5 star myprotein experience if my package wasn’t broken on delivery. Thank myprotien Goes Well With:Fruit smoothies
The service from MP is as usual great. Easy to order and great delivery. I ordered this to mix in with protein shakes. It however doesn't mix very well (despite being mixed in a blender) and you can taste the powder easily. The pea taste is rather overwhelming too, taking the taste away from the other ingredients that I put into my shake! I wouldn't buy this again, mainly due to its poor mixability and its acquired taste!Goes Well With:Nothing
This vegan protein powder is superb! Goes Well With:banana, chia seeds
Not drinkable as a protein shake. Sime as that! You simply cannot mask the strong pea flavour. Perhaps it will get used in food at so.e point to try not to waste it.. not git for purpose
The texture was like drinking sand and I tried three or four different recipes for smoothies and nothing could mask the taste or texture. What is worse, I tried to contact MyProtein to return products and they have not responded for two weeks. 300g of green peas and a 100g of chick peas carries enough protein for vegans for a meal so you don't have to buy this product. Do yourself a favour and make a curry. I've ordered a lot of MyProtein products and they've really let me know on this most recent purchase. Goes Well With:Sand
I bought this on a vegan streak having watched What The Health on Netflix. Its a decent enough product qualitywise etc, absolutely no doubts there. It mixes better than other vegan protein (brown rice) though I've not tried the hemp or soy yet. Its got a bit of vegetably taste and I bought several new Flavdrops flavours to try with it. To be honest these tend not to completely mask the taste and with the slight chalkiness I'm not sure if I'd use it as a shake again. It is, however, great to add to stews, soups, curries etc as a protein boost and that's probably how I'll use it going forward.Goes Well With:stews, soups
Vile. Smells like fish food. Tastes like evil. Its chalky and unbearable to drink. Only found that an excessive amount of blackcurrent and a small amount of water makes it a little easier to drink. I do not recommendGoes Well With:Nothing really
This is best protein powder for vegans, no artificial flavors just pure form of pea isolate, great economic price and must for all...thank you myprotein
I am a huge fan of MyProtein products and have been a loyal customer for many years. I made the switch to Vegan Protein in an attempt to cut dairy from my diet. The texture, smell and taste of this product is unbearable. I tried mixing it with everything and anything i could think of. Nothing got close masking the thick chalky texture and stale smell. My search for a palatable Vegan Protein Powder continues.... any recommendations welcome Goes Well With:Absolutely Nothing
Product is very good end effective. Four outside UK u guys must change the shipping method. I had to chasethe shipper to get my goods.
I bought pea protein as an alternative supplement since I became vegan but I certainly did not prepare for how bad it would taste. I've had a few unpleasant ones and some excellent tasting supplements in my time, but this is by far the worst tasting thing I have ever tried. It froths up like bear and leaves a layer at the top of the supplement when it does eventually settle. I found myself psyching myself up just to take it, it shouldn't be like that. Needless to say, I've still got almost the entire lot which I don't intend to drink Think you've missed the mark work this one.Goes Well With:Not much
