Chocolate meal replacement
4This is ok, not quite sure what I was expecting but compared to other meal replacements I’ve tried, It’s very lumpy, and I’m finding it hard to mix when I’m in a hurry. I bought this because I’m lactose intolerant so it’s doing me massive favours getting food in while I’m at work.

Formula Change
4Whole Fuel Blend has just had a formula change. On the myvegan site this has been referenced in places as V2, but there is no mention of the reformulation here. In my opinion, this new formula has a better nutrition profile. The biggest change you will notice is the lack of sweeteners. The old flavours were very sweet (I quite liked the sweetness, but whatever..) The new flavours in contrast are more subtle. Initially trying the Salted Caramel (before I realised the formula had changed), I had to double check that they hadn't sent me Unflavoured by mistake! The Vanilla tastes more like a plain porridge now. After a few shakes, I've come to prefer this, it feels healthier and I can always add some sweetener if I feel like it. These are a great base to add some Zero Cal Flavour Drops into. I especially like adding 6 or 7 drops of Hazlenut into the Vanilla. The Chocolate flavour Whole Fuel just tastes bad, I'm afraid. Not very chocolatey with an odd aftertaste. Goes Well With:MyProtein Zero Cal Flavour Drops. Hazlenut and White Chocolate are two I've tried.

New Recipe or Bad Batch?
1I’ve been buying the chocolate flavour Whole Fuel for 3 or 4 years now. It’s been part of my breakfast daily over that period but, just as the most recent reviewer found, it won’t be from now on(unless things return to normal). Genuinely smells like dirty dishwater and tastes like, how I imagine it would, too.

Recipe change?
1I’ve been using this meal replacement for some time now and it’s always been great (chocolate flavour). However my last order is revolting, mixed with water the consistency isn’t smooth like usual but very bitty and the taste is awful. Doesn’t even taste like chocolate anymore, it’s like cardboard!

4Really tasty, mixes well. Not vegan but this is a great product if you are wanting to Break away from the whey protein.
