No funky smell!

I prefer buying my shirataki noodles from MyProtein as they come in smaller portions, are smell-free and cheaper. Traditional brand shirataki noodles have a slightly fishy-like smell and always come in 200g portions which are quite too much for me. With these MyProtein shirataki, there's no need for it to be soaked in water for the smell to go away. You can just pour out the liquid, rinse it a bit and it goes straight into the pan! This is now a staple in my home. This review goes the same for the rest of the Zero noodles.
Goes Well With:
Pasta sauce or tinned mackerel in spicy tomato sauce

Good product

I was a bit suspicious at first to eat spaghetti that were packaged in small sachets filled with weird smelling water but once you rinse them and mix into a sauce or dish I was surprised how well they turned out. They don't taste like much so don't expect the usual pasta taste but good to give sauces a bit of texture and add some more volume to your meal.
Goes Well With:
Italian tomato sauce with veggies and Saucy Asian meals

I reorder every month

These are my favourite shirataki noodles. Once you get past the fishy smell, they're actually a great pasta or noodle replacement and being flavourless, they go with everything. I just make sure to rinse them well and cook off the excess moisture. Take about two minutes to cook. Add extra fibre without adding grain or carbs - what's not to like? Not bad value if bought when on offer.
Goes Well With:
Philly, spinach, capers and fried onion plus whatever veg is hanging around in the fridge.

Awful. I don't believe the other reviews

Product on opening stinks of weird fish smell. has the texture of rubbery plastic and taste watery fishy. I don't even think I feel safe eating it.

Do what they say

Thought I'd give these a go as I was quite intrigued and to be honest they're actually quite decent. There is no flavour at all which means you can effectively mix them with anything you want, I personally use them as a pasta substitute to cut down on calories and carbs. The only minor issue I have with them is they are quite rubbery, this can be seen as a good or bad thing as at least they have a decent texture. But they are so easy to use just heat them in microwave for a minute or just stir fry for 2-3 and jobs a gooden.
Goes Well With:
Stir fries and Bolognese

Great alternative

This is a very good keto substitute for pasta or noodles. I dont see much difference on how zero spaghetti or zero noodles look. They're both thin strips unlike zero fettuccine, which is wider. To get rid of the fishy smell and excess water, rinse them very well with cold water in a colander and squeeze well after. Then I dry fry them in a non stick pan until all the excess water evaporates. Then you can add whatever sauce you like. I do the same for the other Zero products.

Great product

Don't be put off by how they are packaged or look. Once cooked they have a good consistency, quite similar to noodles. They take on flavours really well and I honestly cannot complain. And the wife likes them too. If you want a substitute for spaghetti or are making a noodle dish you honestly will not know the difference.

Better than it used to be

This konjac based "free food" is just what I needed on Weight Watchers where I have begun to despair of never being able to enjoy simple carbs such as pasta and rice. It's not perfect, but it is not bad, and I am finding ways to use it to make other food items as a starch substitute. I highly recommend trying it out, and even mix it half and half with some courgette or real pasta and you will hardly notice that it isn't the real thing.
Goes Well With:
Sauces, meat, eggs. I am even thinking of trying to make keuggle (?) with it

Great alternative and filling!

A great alternative to spaghetti on my spag bol. Obviously they taste of nothing but they mix well with sauce. I genuinely feel full when I've eaten these! Very easy to prepare! There is a fishy smell when you open the packet but this quickly goes when you wash and rinse it. Definitely recommend!
Goes Well With:
Bolognese sauce Carbonara sauce
