The seeds of the flax (or linseed) plant have been used traditionally for years and are great for anyone looking to increase their intake of soluble and insoluble fibre.
- Excellent source of essential fatty acids
- Contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol
- Ideal for adding calories to your diet
Our 100% Flax Seed Powder has a nutty taste, and is excellent for anyone wanting to increase their intake of essential fatty acids or boost their calorie consumption. It’s also a natural form of both soluble and insoluble fibre.
Fibre is important as part of a balanced diet, but getting enough of it can sometimes be difficult so adding this to your everyday shake can be a convenient solution.
High in both fibre & protein, our Flaxseed Powder is packed full of goodness. Simply try adding 1/4 of a large scoop (10g) to your shakes, smoothies or juice for a nutritional boost.
May also contain gluten, soy, milk and egg.

Bad taste
Good powder for increasing fibre in your diet but I can only add a very small amount to my shake as it tastes really bad. Wouldn’t buy again. Goes Well With:Don’t know!

Report this reviewRoman?
I remember reading a newspaper article, many moons ago, that informed me that the Roman army, of antiquity, would march with their bellies full of flaxseed bread. Sold me on the stuff. I add it to my smoothies and I'm sure I'm the better for it. Goes Well With:Anything stronger flavoured than it is. Smoothies are ideal. Banana, peanut butter and your favourite Whey protein will all help to ensure you don't even notice this stuff going down.
Report this reviewOkay
I thought I’d try this product out having heard good things about it. I usually add it to my shakes, it mixes ok and doesn’t affect the taste much. However be very careful with the amount you ingest until you see how your body reacts. I whammed two lots of 20g servings in one day and nearly soiled my pants. Now I only take 10g a day. Any more and it’s toiletville
Report this reviewFlax Seed Powder
Good nutritional value but no taste makes it quite disgusting and it really dries out whatever u mix it with. Goes Well With:A cement mixer
Report this reviewCan't seem to mix with oats...
Tried mixing this with my morning oats but every time it just makes it turn into what can only be described as a thick mucus consistency... literally awful lol Can only advise this in a smoothie or shake thats mixed well (preferably in a blender), otherwise does the job.Goes Well With:NOT OATS
Report this reviewMeal Replacement
I add Flaxseed for the Omega 3 fatty acids and extra nutrients to my meal replacement shake. My bodybuilding or losing weight mix with higher protein is; 2.5 parts whey, 2.5 parts oat flour and 1 part flaxseed. The lower protein mix is: 2.5 parts oats, 1 part whey and 1 part flaxseed. The flaxseed also bulks out the shake making it thicker. Goes Well With:Oats and whey
