Brown Rice Protein

Fantastic value!! I buy the 5 kilo option along with their pea protein and both mix together either in a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio. Both mix great and taste good too. Fantastic for vegans or for anyone who wants to add some variety in their protein sources. Highly recommended A++++++++++

Great

Unflavoured gives shakes a creamy taste. There is a grainy texture to it but its easy to get past. I mix it with salted caramel soy protein powder to make it less sweet and to get another protein source into my diet as it’s pretty soy heavy

This protein powder literally tastes and smells like sawdust it’s horrible if you mix it in with extra oats may I suggest you use an extra 50ml of water otherwise it comes out like a failed mug cake and please buy some flavour drops their a complete game changer and makes this edible

Perfect for smoothies

I add to my fruit smoothies in a blender which it is perfect for. The fruit masks any taste. Great amino profile.

Ditch the animal, embrace the plant.

It's looking like veganuary might be lasting longer than I'd thought, there was a worry about protein if I'm being honest, however: Brown Rice Protein Powder could be Thale answer for you as it has been for me, mixed with Soy Milk and dates, banana, Flavour Drops, oat bran gives me a breakfast that is filling, nutritious and taste great - no compromise of the protein at the start of the day, or any time of day. Would highly recommend.

Easy to digest and does the job

I mainly bought this because I reacted badly to whey. This is way easier on my stomach. I do agree with a lot of complaints about the taste however the bitterness of the powder is easily cancelled out by something sour, like green yogurt or kefir. It's is easy to blend in my smoothie. I just changed the liquid proportion to half oat milk and half kefir.

Very Very Good

The taste is not delicious but it is one of the most easily palatable vegan powders I have tried which is also cost effective. Mixes very well but does leave a fine grainy texture but it is not hugely noticeable. Wish there were more flavour options because as I said the taste is not amazing. It is easy to get down for vegan protein it isn't bad. Hoping for more flavours soon. Would personally only mix with water.

Oh dear…

Like a lot of people, I don't handle dairy very well. This becomes an issue when it comes to supplements. For a couple years I've done Carnivor Beef Protein, but was hoping to find something that wasn't meat-based. The reviews on the Brown Rice Protein seemed pretty good, so I gave it a whirl. It's disgusting. I'm a hardgainer, so I'll take what I can get in terms of macros; it ain't always gonna be delicious. But brace yourself with this stuff. They should use it to build bridges. It tastes TREMENDOUSLY bad and mixes into a thick enough solution to pave your driveway with, but protein is protein. You just need to ask yourself, how bad do I want these gains?
