Report this reviewDo NOT buy if you’re not vegan..
1I’m sure this protein is nutritionally fantastic, I bought this in hopes to put my gut under a little less stress when breaking down and absorbing the protien. Coming from the chocolate mint whey protein I can confirm that this the worst tasting protien I have ever consumed, everytime I have tried swallowing this protien (nose pinched) I have vomited it all back up. I’m going to try putting it in with oats to lessen the taste. But yeah, all in all. This tastes disgusting. If you’re not used to organic tasting protein, I’d stay far away from this.Goes Well With:Nothing.

4I think I’ve tried most non dairy proteins now and this one is finally one I can work with. Tried various ways of using this one and settled on the following which is very nice. 8 tablespoons of muesli 3 teaspoons of coffee 1 scoop of brown rice protein 4-5 Oreo cookies or 7 lotus biscoff biscuits A good measure of rice milk or coconut milk (to your desired thickness) 6 ice cubes Blend together. (I use a vitamix)
Report this reviewbetter taste than vegan blend
4I tried first the Vegan Blend because I wanted to buy a dairy-free, vegan alternative protein powder. I think that brown rice protein is much better than Vegan Blend, it has a little bit better taste and better mixability. Goes Well With:Alpro, water, oatmeal, cookies
Report this reviewDoes the job
4Texture is a little bit grainy but doesn’t bother me. I wanted to try a non whey protein powder that didn’t have and artificial sweeteners , this does the job really well! Goes Well With:Cocoa powder, peanut butter, milk

2My review is just about the taste of it. Even though the nutritional values are very good, this powder is impossible to blend in a smoothie. I have tried every smoothie combination as possible (soy..almond..rice..normal milk, yogurt, fruits, coffee) but the texture is always sandy. It's like to drink a sip of liquid concrete with sand inside. I tried in the past the Soy Protein Isolate and they were much way better in taste mixed with the smoothie.Goes Well With:I could't find anything
Report this reviewMisleading Macros
3Review of actual product: Isn't the worst tasting Brown Rice protein on the market. Mixes and digests well! (I'd advise using both a coil and a grate in your shaker though.) Good price for a high protein count, sadly that comes at the cost of high carb. ALSO: The scoop is a 40g scoop, so the macros are for 3/4 of a scoop. It does state this on the packet but some may miss it. If you go for a full scoop you get a whopping 30.6g of protein! Personal Review: Thought this protein's macros were too good to be true, and sadly they were. When I initially purchased this protein, it stated just 1.3g of carbs in a 30g scoop. I then noticed that online they had upped the carb amount to over quadruple what it stated on the 2.5kg bag I had purchased. Turns out they'd miscalculated the macros and only just fixed it. (The original macros didn't add up when back-calculated) On a normal diet, this is fine. 5.7g/7.6g in a full scoop isn't an insane amount. However when trying to run keto every gram counts and I'm now disappointed to have to leave this protein for a few months until I can have it again, and have instead had to pay out for BRP from another provider that has a lower carb count. I'd stupidly always trusted MP to have accurate macros and give me the best information they could. Now left wondering what else MyProtein have calculated incorrectly... Goes Well With:Rice milk, or for low-carb, coconut milk alternative. Use at least 200ml of liquid per-scoop.

4Good vegan protein option. Goes well in smoothies. There's no taste, which overall isn't bad, as you can mix it with different other ingredients
Report this reviewMuch Better Than Whey
5I don't understand all the reviews saying bad mixability and taste on here. For me anyone who's only using water and a shaker to mix their protein is an absolute mook anyway. If like a normal human you use a blender and some ingredients like almond milk, a banana, some seeds and honey it tastes great. It actually mixes in a blender much better than whey protein, because it doesn't go all foamy and feel like you're drinking a pint of creamy froth. The main thing though is that it doesn't give me a bloated or gassy feeling at all like whey does, and I certainly will never be going back.
Report this reviewGood for throwing back
4I have recently switched to vegan shakes, the whey ones can be a bit sticky when washing the cup and I get a bit bloated. The hemp and rice I have tried have not had that issue. This one is quite chalky but the shaker with the metal thing in mixes up really well. This doesnt taste as good as a blueberry cheescake shake with cinnamon topping of course but it does get the job done. I havent tried the flavour drops but if you are looking for a cheaper alternative try vimto or any other brand of concentrated fruit drink. Pour a bit of that in and it adds enough sweetness to throw it back no problem. This isnt a three course lobster and steak meal its extra protein, pure and simple. Goes Well With:My digestive system
