The orange cookies are good. Not brilliant but good. They have a similar texture to the brownies, takes a bit of time to get through them. Tastes decent though.
Perfect preworkout snack espically when works been flat out having to skip lunch. Bought mutiple boxes, so far 4 flavours (chocolate, rocky road, cookies and cream, and just recently white chocolate almond). Everything tastes great except the white chocolate, tastes like medicine. Defintely a trick to turn you off having your next cheat meal.
I like these. I will definitely be buying again. Especially like the white chicolate and rocky road flavours
Con: I take 5~6 meals a day (3 mains + snacks) and this one easily has the calorie content of 2 snacks and almost a main. Not ideal for weight loss. Pro: It has tad bit of an aftertaste but overall still acceptable. It’s protein content is hard to beat. On days when I veer from my usual meals n looking like I won’t be able to hit my required protein intake, I just pop one of these. Goes Well With:Protein deficient meals.
I have tried these recently in the chocolate orange and find they have a nice taste to them like a cross between jaffacake and terrys chocolate orange, they are almost as nice as the double chocolate, i feel they are great considering they are around 50% protein and low in sugars, they make for a great boost in protein anytime of the day. To further spice them up and make them taste better you can heat them slightly in the microwave for a few seconds and then top with some smooth almond or peanut butter and some butterscotch zero sugar syrup, they also work well sliced into pieces and added to high protein porridge and ice cream to increase nutritional values with more slow releasing protein. if you found any value in this review then please use code: GEOFF - RDT (no space in between dash and letters) and all in capital letters at checkout to get up to 85% off order depending on current offers, thanks and i hope this was of benefit to you :).Goes Well With:peanut or almond butter spread on top.
Good healthier alternative. Not a big fan of the texture and consistency Goes Well With:Milk, English breakfast tea
I am a fan of the protein brownies so decided to give these a try in the oatmeal and raisin flavor. After a couple of bites I stopped. It tastes awful. Won't bother with these again and stick to the cookie mix instead.
The double rich chocolate taste really bad but considering it’s macros,it’s soft texture and the fact that it fills you up so you don’t eat junk I would definitely recommend as a quick snack. Just get another flavor :p
Macros are great, total kcals a little high if you're cutting. Tasty but very dense/chewy.
I bought both chocolate and oat and raisin flavours. Whilst the chocolate did have that fake chocolate taste it was just about palatable and my husband has been enjoying (?) them as a healthy snack each day in his lunch box. The oat and raisin ones, however, were absolutely disgusting. I didn't manage to finish my mouthful. The sugar substitute left such an aftertaste and the cookie itself was so sweet. Quite unnecessary to have so much sweetener in the recipe. I passed the cookies to two other friends who also thought them terrible and they are now with a weightlifting friend of my daughter's at Uni so I am hoping he will like them. I have however given them a 4 for effectiveness as the protein count is very high and so for someone in training it will give the required boost but also for dieters although the calorie count is high it is nutritious and very filling so far better than a chocolate bar! I originally bought them for my daughter who eats well but not enough and finds it hard to put on weight. Unfortunately, they are not tasty enough for her to really want to eat them so no good for her. I am hoping she will have more luck with the flavoured dessert otherwise this will have been a very expensive experiment!!
Definitely would not recommend the oatmeal and raisin flavour.
I've been having one of these a day as a mid day snack to avoid eating junk as well as getting some extra protein in. Mission accomplished and I would recommend them if you can ignore the flavour or at least I wouldn't recommend the oat and raisin ones. Goes Well With:something to drink
I tried the almond & white chocolate and oat & raisin flavours so far and they are both delicious but my favourite is oat and raisin. The almond flavour is nice but has a marzipan taste to it I like it. I find these excellent to keep me away from junk and chocolate and also help to hit my protein macros ect definitely recommended themGoes Well With:With coffee or cuppa tea or anytime of the day.
I am a devoted MyProtein customer, with these cookies being my absolute favourite purchase. During those moments, whilst enduring a soul destroying workout, in which I just want to stop living, I think of the cookies. The taste. Complete euphoria, what a reward. However, one dismal rainy Tuesday, upon my monthly shop on MyProtein, I discover pain and turmoil. The greatest creation, the mint chocolate protein cookie, was taken from me. My baby. This saddened me, but I adopted another baby; a white chocolate almond protein cookie. Although I have never felt complete, this adoption gave me the strength to carry on. However, on a another dismal rainy Tuesday, upon my monthly shop on MyProtein, further pain and turmoil was sent my way upon discovering the second greatest creation, the white chocolate almond protein cookie, was taken from me. You took my babies away from me. Living is a daily struggle, working out is not the same without seeing my babies at the end of a grueling workout. I have stopped pushing myself, no longer do I squat, just walk on the treadmill and gaze at the vending machine. I have adopted another baby, a double chocolate protein cookie. I do not, I cannot, give the love this baby deserves, knowing it will be taken from my arms. Please, bring back my babies. Give my life a purpose again.Goes Well With:Happiness.
I love these cookies. Last time I had ordered them they were very nice. This time they were a bit hard in texture. I waited a week for chocolate flavoured ones to be restocked which is not a problem. The taste is as to be expected. With 38grams of protein in every cookie and low sugar its not going to taste like your regular one but it does taste nice regardless. If they didnt have the hard texture this time it would had been a 5*.Goes Well With:Coffee. Short break during work.
The rocky road is terrible, the almond and white chocolate is way better. But to be honest, this does not compare to the womensbest protein biscuits in the slightest!!!
These are epic. In terms of taste, they are good. Not as good as a real cookie but still pretty good. They are the best meal replacement "bar" I have ever come across. Extremely good nutrition + good taste. Obviously you shouldn't be using these instead of good food, but when you have no other choice, like when you're out with friends and they all want fast food, or maybe you have no food at all, then these are amazing.
I've been used to eating the Sci Mx double chocolate protein cookies but thought I would try the My Protein ones for a change. I'm glad I did as they taste just as good if not better than the Sci Mx ones. I find these are the perfect post work out snack to have along with a protein shake. Absolutely delicious and will definately be ordering more in the future.
They taste anazing, good price and a nice snack you can have daily which is good for you Goes Well With:Coffeeee
These cookies are great to reach your protein targets for the day and gives you a lot of nutrition, and they're very tasty as well. I found it to be a good way to help with food cravings as well by just having one of these cookies a day as they filled me up. Great product!
