Good as an ingredient
4Definitely nicer than expected - got the plain flavour and mixed with 300ml lactose free milk and some vanilla flat drops it’s a bit like a vanilla milkshake. Helps a lot after getting back into lifting weights which was making me achey. This really helps alleviates the two day later soreness. Does leave a bit of a film on your teeth if you don’t let it settle from the mixer bottle but overall does the job. An easy add to breakfast smoothies, adding nut butter helps the overall texture and taste. leaving it to settle for a few mins also helps with texture. Goes Well With:Peanut butter, vanilla flav drops, Greek yogurt, milk

Mixes well, likes to foam
5This stuff is great, it's quite powdery compared to whey and will form clouds if given a chance, so don't be too rough with the bag. It mixes into water really fast, but does like to form a head when shaken (it's milk protein, this is to be expected) . I've been mixing a scoop of this with a scoop of chocolate flavoured whey, as the chocolate flavours often contain some form of lecithin to help it mix, and this effectively reduces the foaming to the point that it is a non-issue.Goes Well With:Chocolate flavour whey, or any others that contain a lecithin.

Quite thick & chalky but vanilla tastes great
5On first impressions the powder is quite thick & chalky. It does mix nicely, the vanilla flavour and fullness is satisfying and fills you up nicely in the evening. As long as you’ve trained on the day of eating or drinking it, I'd say it’s well worth worth it and great eating it mixed with porridge. Goes Well With:Warm porridge oats and water

Great bedtime protein
5I grabbed this because I often struggle to fall asleep if I'm not feeling full and I prefer to make that bedtime top up some extra protein. I usually mix it with semi skimmed milk and it just makes it taste really creamy. Also good with a sprinkle of chocolate milk mix for flavor (and to reduce foaming).Goes Well With:Chocolate milk mix and semi skimmed milk.

Great way to get my protein
5I use this in my custard on top of blueberry crumble and it tastes great. I add cinnamon for flavour, along with Erythritol for sweetness

Perfect for bakes
4I got this to use in baking different kinds of breads and snacks. I mix this with the whey protein and get the perfect mixture for a balanced texture in the bake.

Drop in quality?
3I have been using this product for some time and use it when making oats for before bed. As mentioned by others previous batches had thickened up nicely when whisked with water even before adding oats. This new batch doesn't thicken at all with water and just froths. I can see no change to the ingredients, but yet this is produces a very different result. Given casien is supposed to thicken it makes me question if the quality has also changed.

Nice but a bit thick & chalky
4The casein vanilla protein is quite pleasant though the texture is thick & a bit on the chalky side. But I find it mixes nicely with some warmed porridge & the vanilla taste suits it well. Personally I like it and would buy again but you do have to get used to the texture of it. Which does take a couple of visits with it but again nice & ties you over between meals in terms of fullness Goes Well With:Warmed Porridge

5I drink every night before sleep..light and dissolves very well..like a vanilla shake, tasty. Strongly recommend.

5Bought this casein because I was sick of the taste of my usual shake but was a bit afraid of trying something else, was real happy with it though when it came, nice chocolate flavour and mixes pretty quick with no lumps, fair price and super fast shipping apu from My Protein :)Goes Well With:Bedtime
